Pre-Employment Requirements
- Fingerprint clearance through the Department of Justice (DOJ). To comply with California Assembly Bills 1610 and 1612, all classified and certificated substitutes, as well as probationary and temporary employees offered employment, are required to complete fingerprinting. Employment is contingent upon receiving fingerprint clearance and successful completion of the background investigation.
- Proof of a negative TB test completed within the past four years or a completed TB Risk Assessment clearance.
- Original identification documents for employment verification, such as a Social Security card and a valid driver's license, or a valid passport.

- How long does the hiring process take?
Hiring timelines vary depending on the position and the completion of all pre-employment requirements, including fingerprint clearance and any required documentation. The Human Resources Department will guide applicants through each step of the process.
