Local Control & Accountability Plan (LCAP)

Local Control & Accountability Plan (LCAP)

Planning Today. Preparing Students for Tomorrow.

The Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) serves as PLESD's strategic roadmap for enhancing student achievement, promoting student well-being, and ensuring that every student has access to a high-quality education. Developed with input from students, families, staff, and the community, the LCAP guides district priorities and the use of state and local funding.

📖 What is the LCAP?
The Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) is a three-year strategic plan required by the State of California. It outlines the District's goals, actions, and investments to improve student success while addressing the needs of all learners. The plan is updated annually with input from students, families, employees, and the community.

🤝 Community Engagement

Community involvement is an essential part of the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) process. Each spring, PLESD invites students, families, staff, and community members to participate in the Annual LCAP Survey. The feedback collected helps identify district strengths, areas for improvement, and priorities for the upcoming school year.

In addition to the annual survey, community members are encouraged to participate in public hearings and provide input throughout the LCAP development process. Your voice plays an important role in helping shape district goals, programs, and services that support student success.
