Regular meetings of the PLESD Governing Board are generally held on the third Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m. Meeting locations rotate among District school sites. Special Board meetings may also be called when needed.

Board meeting agendas are posted online, at each school site, and at the District Office in accordance with legal posting requirements.

 

The Board conducts its business in meetings that are open to the public. When permitted by California’s Brown Act, the Board may meet in closed session to discuss specific confidential matters, such as personnel, labor negotiations, real property negotiations, pending litigation, or certain student matters. After the closed session, the Board reconvenes in open session and reports any actions required by law.
