Every week, we study a word family. We usually spend a month on one short vowel.
Our words are:
1. bop
2. cop
3. hop
4. mop
5. top
- On Mondays, we take our "pre-test". We say the word, sound the word, spell the word, think about the word, and write the word.
- Tuesday through Thursday, they practice writing the words. We also play games like Swat the Fly, Q-tip, and Sparkle.
