Before first grade, your child is responsible for learning 18 high frequency words.We work on these words everyday during reading groups and whole group lessons.
Every Friday, I check your child's progress.
My goal is for all my students to know these words, plus some from first grade. With your help, I feel this can be done! I have sent home flash cards so you can practice with them at home. I also gave you a list of the kindergarten words, as well as the first grade words at our parent-teacher conference.
