With the Houghton Mifflin program, we are using Alphafriends. For each letter of the alphabet, there is an animal or person that associates with it. We learn a new letter everyday and review the previous letters. We do an Alphafriend riddle, say the letter and sound, listen to the song, and summarize the Alphafriend sound.
