This is my 6th year teaching First Grade in Plumas Lake.  I love coming to school every day to see smiling, energetic faces; all eager to learn.  There is never a dull moment in my first grade class; because First Grade Rocks!!!!!!

I graduated from Chico State with a BA in Liberal Studies and earned my teaching credential there as well.  In addition to teaching 1st graders I also teach a dance/hip-hop class at my gym and I coach Volleyball for 7th and 8th grade girls. 

In my spare time I enjoy anything that has to do with water; wakeboarding, wakesurfing, boating, or just layin by the pool.  I am a huge animal lover too. On the weekends and holidays you will usually find my husband and I fixing up our house. I am getting pretty handy with the hammer and drill. :) I just got married over the summer so some of you may still remember me as Miss S. hehe.
